It has been many months since I last logged in. I deleted Google and lost access to my account. Now I have Google back, so here I am. I will continue with the development of the site. I have a number of additions that will follow this posting in my photos of my cross stitch achievements.
I said I was going to take one day off, but I ended up still working on the site to an extent, so I extended my "time off". I have made some more minor changes, but nothing serious. I need to take some more photos, which I will try to start tomorrow. Not today, too much to do.
Slowly but surely it is coming together. I know it is taking a long time, but since I am a neophyte at building websites, it has been something of a struggle. I like Weebly, but except for their community sites, it is not all that easy to work with. However, their community question sites are second to none. I have has just about all my questions answered there.
I made quite a bit of progress yesterday, and made it through a lot frustration, so I decided to take today off. I will be adding more pages as time goes by, especially the cross stitch. My whole family does it, and they are going to send me some pictures. I have some of my father's (now deceased) work, and will get them photographed tomorrow or Monday. I just need a day of rest today. Thank you - all of you who have visited here. I deeply appreciate your complimentary comments, and suggestions.
I have made some changes to the pages, by adding sub-pages to both Cross Stitch, and card making. From the home page, you can hold the cursor over the name and you will see a drop-down list with sub pages showing. This finally coming alive!!
I think I have finally figured out how to blog on this site. I'll see how it goes for now.
The last few days I have been slowly going crazy, but thanks to someone on the live "chat" with Weebly, I have figured most of it out by myself. I still have to figure out how to publish. I can find my site, but my husband couldn't, not on his computer, anyway. So I am doing something wrong. I will figure that out, though as the days go by.
Today I hope to take some pictures for both cards and some of my cross-stitch, so that I can start populating this site. My work is cut out for me, but I will get there.
